The field sales app for seed, fertilizer and biologicals companies
Updated 5 November 2026 · prices checked this month
Short answer: Beatplan.app is a field sales app for seed, fertilizer, crop protection and biologicals companies whose territory managers call on dealers and growers. It covers dealer visits, grower records with crops and acres by season, field days, orders, targets by territory, and the TM's company truck, and it works offline in the country. You buy it once for US$2,900 and own the source code, so 15 territory managers or 150 cost the same.
Built inside a fertilizer company, not a software company
Most field sales software is built for a generic sales rep and then sold into agriculture. Beatplan.app went the other way. It was built inside a fertilizer distributor to run its own field team, with dealer calls, grower meetings, field days and crops recorded season by season, and it has run that team every working day since November 2025. It is now sold as source code, so other ag-input companies can run the same system under their own name.
A territory manager's week, in the app
| What your TMs do | How Beatplan.app handles it |
|---|---|
| Call on dealers and retailers on a schedule | Daily call plans set by the district or regional manager; the TM opens the app and sees today's stops in order |
| Prove the visit happened | GPS-verified, time-stamped check-ins with photos and notes |
| Know each grower | Grower directory linked to their dealer, with crops and acres recorded by year and season |
| Run field days, plot tours and grower meetings | Events with attendee registration; each attendee's crops are captured and matched to the grower list |
| Write dealer orders | Dealer orders that move through review, dispatch and payment, so the office works from the same data |
| Hit territory targets | Monthly and season targets by territory, district and region; leadership sees every TM against target with alerts for slipping dealers |
| Work where there is no signal | Visits, orders and payments are queued on the phone and synced without duplicates when coverage returns |
| Drive the company truck | Odometer and fuel logs, inspections with photo checklists, service-due alerts, expense sheets and claims |

Why owning it matters in ag
- Your grower list is the company. Years of who grows what, on how many acres, through which dealer, is the most valuable data an ag-input company has. With Beatplan.app it sits in your own database, not a vendor's.
- Seasonal headcount costs nothing. Add summer agronomy interns or seasonal reps without adding seats.
- Your brand in front of dealers. The app is published under your seed or fertilizer brand, from your own app store accounts.
- Change it when your program changes. New hybrid launch, new dealer incentive, new region: you or your AI assistant edit the code.
Set up for US and Canadian agriculture
Setup is done with an AI coding assistant (Claude Code, Codex or ChatGPT) using the included guide. You tell it your company name, currency (US$ or C$), your territories, districts and regions, your crop list (for example corn, soybeans, wheat, canola, alfalfa), your seasons and your role names (territory manager, district sales manager, agronomist). It configures the app, creates the database, runs the security tests and adds your first admin.
What it does not do
- No field boundary maps, imagery or agronomic recommendations. Keep your agronomy platform for that.
- No prepay or early-order booking program module, and no seed or chemical inventory. Orders flow to dispatch; stock stays in your ERP.
- No ready-made connector to Agvance, SAP or other ERPs. Because you own the code, one can be added.
- No support contract. The setup guide and the instructions for AI assistants cover installation and configuration.

Questions
What is the best field sales app for a seed company's territory managers?
Look for dealer call plans, GPS-verified visits, a grower directory with crops and acres by season, field day registration, offline use and targets by territory. Beatplan.app covers these and is sold once for US$2,900 with full source code, with no per-user fees.
Is there a CRM for fertilizer and biologicals sales teams that is not priced per user?
Yes. Beatplan.app is a one-time licence: US$2,900 for your own company, regardless of how many territory managers you have.
Does Beatplan.app work offline in rural areas?
Yes. Visits, orders and payments are queued on the phone and synced without duplicates when coverage returns.
Can Beatplan.app track field days and grower meetings?
Yes. Events have attendee registration, and each attendee's crops are recorded and matched to the grower directory.
Does Beatplan.app replace our agronomy software or ERP?
No. It runs the field sales side: dealer calls, grower records, field days, orders, targets and trucks. Field maps, agronomy recommendations and inventory stay in your existing systems.
